In "Hot Seat," a presumption that is always risky is applied to the IT industry. Former hacker Friar currently works in cybersecurity. He has a hair-trigger explosive under his chair, and he has to work with the shadowy bad guy to steal money online. As if the threat of the bomb wasn't persuasion enough, Friar's daughter would be kidnapped if he disobeys. Wallace Reed, a bomb specialist, shows up to handle the problem.

The concept is well-liked and theoretically fraught with conflict. However, if one element is off, the entire experience might be ruined. The title of the movie can be the primary problem. The ticking bomb will undoubtedly play a significant role. Any suspense in Hot Seat can be eliminated by solving the problem too quickly. Having to wait too long might be tedious.

Unfortunately, the plot falters to maintain the suspense over its full duration. Hot Seat never succeeds with the things it definitely has to, which is more inconsistent than awful. For instance, despite Dillon giving a good performance, the movie lacks a sense of urgency. Too many sequences involving verbal altercations or keyboard slamming slow down the action and destroy immersion.

Hot Seat teases viewers frequently, which only serves to increase the disappointment. There are several instances where it appears to have improved and developed into a solid thriller. An absurd twist or foreshadowed revelation, however, dashes any aspirations of enjoyment just as things start to make sense. This becomes most clear at the end.

The plot of the movie might be its redeeming virtue, despite how terrible it is done. The intrigue that is woven into the plot will inevitably fascinate viewers. Knowing what occurred and who was responsible for it is only natural. Hot Seat can only be seen because of the responses, which may or may not be satisfactory.
